The room was clean and well equipped. Housekeeping was excellent. The front desk staff were great. Shower was nice. A few small issues such as a rather cramped counter space in the bathroom. But really a great property. It's attached to an adjacent mall providing easy access to just about anything.

Hotel was fine, perfectly ideal for the city, and about 10 minute walk from the station. However, on the third day, room could have been made a bit better. We had used up all the toilet roll which was not replaced, and also needed another two big towels, so had to go down and ask for it, and staff did not apologise either. When the Receptionist came up, she brought up the towels, but only one toilet paper, when I would have expected at least two. Nevertheless, we managed for the final night. Overall, hotel was good, lovely approach to the Reception area with Christmas displays, breakfast was perfect with plenty of selection, although, choice of cereals and milk would have been even better. Room was standard, but all we needed as didn’t spend too long in there apart from sleeping anyway.

Despite folding my towels and putting them back on the towel rail, they were still replaced every day. I don’t need fresh towels every day and it’s a waste. Also the 4 USB points by the beds didn’t work. Room was very hot, thermostat and fans didn’t make any difference Other than that, everything was lovely thank you!

The hotel is good, with friendly staff and a very convenient location. I’m not giving 5 stars, however, because there is no exhaust fan in the toilet or bathroom.

We stayed at Novotel Strasbourg Centre Halles for five nights and chose it mainly for its excellent location. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the Christmas markets and roughly 10 minutes to the main train station, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel is also right next to a mall, perfect if you enjoy shopping or just want quick access to stores and food options. Our room was spacious enough for two adults and four full-sized suitcases, which we really appreciated during a longer stay. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The only downside was the noise level at night. Even though we were on the 5th floor, we could still hear people shouting and talking loudly outside as late as 3 a.m., which made it harder to sleep on some nights. As expected during the holiday season, the hotel is quite expensive, but if you love Christmas and the festive markets, it’s something you just have to accept. All in all, a comfortable stay with a fantastic location—just be prepared for some late-night street noise during the busy season.

The carpet in the room was stained and filthy, the table was broken, and our room, which was the same room reservation as others in our party, was inferior to theirs. How can rooms priced the same vary so significantly? Also, I could hear the conversations of the guests in the room above and could hear when they flushed the toilet. Not even close to 4 stars.

The location was excellent, but unfortunately, my experience was affected by a persistent unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I reported the issue to reception upon check-in at 2 p.m. for my 3-night business stay. Although the staff attempted to clean the area, the odor remained, and the initial solution offered was to use a body spray to mask the smell. After repeated follow-ups, my room was finally changed—but only on the last day of my stay. Overall, this made my trip uncomfortable, and I felt the service could have been more accommodating.
