We really enjoyed the pools. We wish there was something like this in the US. Sweden is so wonderful. It’s so much more peaceful than here. If you haven’t tried Yasurgi, you have to visit!

Yes, the view is outstanding, although there is a renovation project underway along all the the harbor, so the construction blocks some access to the harbour front.

Trevlig personal. Stimmigt receptionsområde. Bra restaurang men rummet var trist - beige så att säga. Funktionsanpassat men luktade mediciner och hade inget inbjudande i varken färg, konst eller dekoration. Kändes mer som ett vandrarhem än ett hotell.

Clean room

The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said the hotel will not refund the reservation money,.even though we explained the problem within minutes of making the reservation. Beware.

Lovely location but let down by service level. Stay there every year, but this year there was a noticeable lack of attention by the staff. Few smiles, long waiting times to be served and an apparent lack of customer attention. Not as it used to be which is a great shame.
