Book Star hotels

We enjoyed our stay. Room very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping everyday. We always had fresh towels and coffee. Staff very pleasant.

We stayed in the St. Mary's Lodge. Our Room was on the 3rd floor. Nice balcony overlooking a flowing river. Room was decent size with 2 queen beds, a reclining chair and a desk. Nice Blackout Blinds. Lots of shopping within walking distance. Grocery store, gas, souvenirs, and 10% at all the shops (except gas) if staying at there. Right outside the East Entrance to the park. Very convenient. My only complaint would be the Blackfoot Chief declared no liquor sales anywhere on the reservation the entire time we were there. I would still recommend. We drove to Rising Sun for a beer (10 minutes into the park)

This property is very unique with an old school lodge feel. Puzzles were out on tables to complete and guests were sitting by the fire place and around the lobby playing games and cards. We usually spend time watching TV late in the evening so this was a nice change. We also got a room that had been newly renovated. I loved the decor!

Comfortable

The host had given some good instructions to property. The driveway up to the house was a bit surprising. Thru the gate , up a deeply rutted drive and then there was a flat area near the house. I would think that you need an SUV or a car with a bit of clearance.The deck could use a bit of upkeep but functional. The interior of the house was very warm when we got there late in the afternoon, cooled down with evening.The disapointing part was there was not enough dishwashing soap to get thru our stay with 1 load a day. There are notes about keeping the grill clean , yet we emptied the grease tray!We used our propane from our rig for the bbq as we ran out on day 2.My suggestion is to always check supplies - it is a drive to town. Lovely cabin- just a few hitches!
