Stanhope Hotels with Parking

The pictures of the hotel on this website must be about 10-15 years old. The hotel is extremely run down. The room we got had 3 metal bakers rack in it for furniture with a microwave sitting on one and a mini fridge on the floor. The sliding door was open, broken, and the replacement hook to jimmy rig it shut was also broken. The beds looked almost completely on the ground. We refused to stay for our safety. The hallway area smelled strongly of cigarettes and there were cigarettes on the floor. The hallway carpets were ripped and half the hotel, when we drove around the building when leaving, was boarded up. The clerk was prompt to refund us thankfully he must experience this a lot. But I strongly believe this hotel should not be on this site as it is not a safe location. The diner is long closed and even Google Maps lists the location as closed permanently.

Clean room, room was large, bathroom a little small. Overall the Hyatt in Morristown was great. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Staff was nice, parking was easy. Would absolutely stay here again

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. There was free coffee but only powdered creamer which was a bummer. There are coffee shops nearby if you need better coffee.

Bugs all over my bathroom floor, crawling in through a hole in the floor….how this hotel doesn’t notice this happening before assigning a room I have no idea. Not happy
