I went in to get items i noticed i had left and nothing was found. I sleep with my purse and woke up to my purse knocked off the bed on the floor and noticed i had a credit card and vape missing out of my purse. Later i noticed i had left my straightner and they still say they dont have anything left behind. I have managed a hotel before and thats so wrong and then for the rest of staff to go along with it is terrible. That is theft, but id rather take a loss for somones criminal record not to rack up.

The property cleanliness wasn't the best. Carpets were dirty and had an odor. Wifi didn't work the last few days of my stay. Housekeeping was lazy and skipped over cleaning my room several times. Had to ask for clean towels, tissue, and trash liners everyday.

We booked our stay at the Comfort Inn St. Louis - Westport through Expeida for a business class room with 2 Qu. beds. Instead, we found full sized beds, not adequate for our 4 person family including siblings each over 6' tall. It was also right next to the elevators and stairwell, so we heard dings and door slamming all night. I discussed the bed problem with the front desk, but was told was that the hotel was full up, so no option to move to a room as was reserved. The issue was either a bait and switch by Comfort Inn signaling to Expedia that such a room was available to reserve but switching to the worst room in the building, or Expedia's system is inadequately connected to the available inventory and only makes reservations of any room rather than the one advertised and paid for. Expedia only provided a $20 system credit for our troubles. Also, the hotel smells like people, which sounds odd considering that's what it's there for, but it's from poor air filtration and poor cleanliness and housekeeping through the common areas of the hotel. And regarding cleanliness, the room surfaces may have been cleaned, but the carpet was disgusting and there was hair in the bathroom floor corners and hanging off the vanity. Also, the room had no 'business' aspect of the room at all such as a desk and desk chair, only a small table with worn out dining chairs not useful for being able to do any work if needed. Overall the worst hotel stay we've had for such a popular hotel brand.

Staff was amazing and super friendly. Had great amenities for reasonable pricing. Our room had some issues. The bathroom toilet paper holder was broken, the sheets had stains, furniture looked very worn. Our room was facing a building with lots of lights but no blinds to block it so my toddler didn't fall asleep and kept waking us up to look at "the moon". Not a bad hotel but i could have gotten something nicer for 20 bucks more.

The hotel is old and needs remodeling or just a good cleaning would help. The carpet in the hallways and the room had numerous stains, the bathroom shower head had thick brown calcium deposits, the caulk around the toilet was cracked and stained brown, and the bathroom floor was sticky. The furniture is old with chipped paint and hardware on the drawers was missing. My special request was for a front facing room. The desk clerk said he didn't see that request. So, I was given a room on the back of the building with a gangway with trash and all I could see was another building. I made my reservation and request 6 months in advance as I always do. So my request should have been honored.

The room was very comfortable. The bathroom needs some upgrading. The carpets are badly worn, especially in the hall, and the hallways are poorly lit. There were crowds of people hanging around the lobby all day and all night. Lots of people smoking and vaping in front of the entrance. A very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

I called to confirm my reservation and the guy that answered the phone sounded annoyed, not trying to understand the questions I was asking, the man hung up on me before I can say “thank you.” When I arrived at the hotel to check in the guy same who I talked to on the phone was ignoring me while I was waiting to be checked in I was the only one at the desk after a couple of minutes he finally checked me in. That evening I went to the desk for more towels no one else was waiting at the desk it was just me and my friend. I asked “Excuse me can I have some towels?” The same man looked at me then started texting on his phone. I was waiting 2-3 minutes, before he acknowledged me. He gave me the towels then asked me in an irritated voice “you need anything else?” 30-45 minutes later I called the desk for some silverware and the same dude said “Yeah, it will be a few minutes. Your gonna have to come the lobby and get it”. I will not be coming back to the hotel.
