The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was 1st rate - having been upgraded to an executive room! The general feelfid not come over as a 4* establishment eg Staff attire was very casual and at times slovenly.

Rooms kept spotless, bedlinen and towels wonderful.Cannot fault. Only ate once in the restaurant at evening meal. Carvery bit disappointed the Turkey was lovely but veggies needed replenishing and were cold also no gravy. Perhaps we should have waited for it to be refreshed. Will know next time. ...

Worst sleep ever. Rock hard beds and pillows, the room we stayed in was on the second floor (4 flights of stairs, no lift) and the room was on a slant, the whole place seemed uneven.
