We checked in for 2 hours and decided to stay elsewhere and they charged us for a day. How it got 8.6 rating is suspect. The room was not bad though. They said they didn't have body wash only little shampoos and conditioners. Wouldn't bring anything to the room. There was an annoying beeping going on in another room that they gave excuses about being able to fix. Need something go down and get it yourself. I read the reviews prior which is why I booked and was very disappointed. Only bar soap available despite having places in the bathroom for dispensers which were empty.

I had an emergency work trip that could not be helped. I booked the room last minute as I was on my way in. The trip kept me up and awake for over 30 hours which is what it is. However, I had a quick break to go to the hotel for hopefully a nap before getting back to work. The manager refused to give me a room until 3pm. I explained the situation and they could care less, I explained this was my only chance for the next several hours to sleep, and just need a room, which had already been paid for. They refused. I told them to cancel the room, they refused, and then said that if they did cancel it I would not get money back. I told them they were not going to charge me for a bed that they refused to give me. The kid working the desk when I arrived was polite and it was not his fault, his boss however, not so much. later in the morning I was afraid the trip looked like it would be extended, I asked the manager who was there if she could please look at extending the stay, because I need to rush out right then and there and just wanted to make sure were all good before it was too late to extend it. She snarky looked at me and said no I'm eating my lunch. I just looked at her, and said I needed to rush, if she could please just check. To which she said, "oh you're the one who caused problems cause you wanted to be here early." No one plans for these things, but when a customer has already purchased a room, and it's a rush, provide the service.

I guess it was an ok room for the price. I admit I typically don’t stay at a hotel like this one. Was only there to sleep one night. I have stayed in more expensive place in SPI and overall the quality is not that much more. Island is way to expensive for what you get in my opinion no matter where you stay.

When I arrived to check in, the lady at the front explained how the power was out for the entire hotel. I understood that they had nothing to do with the outage because the whole island was out of power but that literally put a huge strain in our trip because our room was hot when we walked in. I went to take a shower after we settled in and the soap dispensers did not have any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. There were just tiny bottles by the sink. There also seems to be a handle missing on the inside of the shower.

They were kind, accommodating and everything was nice and very clean! They even had dish soap outside by the outdoor showered to help remove the tar off our shoes and ourselves!!
