After enjoying the comfy beds of Best Western Gunsan Hotel, you don't have to travel too far to reach downtown Songsu-ri.

You might like to look into some other hotels, such as the Baekmagang Leisure Park or the Lotte Buyeo Resort. The former is positioned 14 kilometres from the central areas, and the second is 13 kilometres away. Alternatively, travel 25 kilometres away from central Songsu-ri to the Gunsan Riverhill Hotel.

Attractions and Hotels Near Songsu-ri

But don't just stop there. Take some time to check out some of the fabulous attractions and activities that the wider South Chungcheong region offers. Among South Chungcheong's gorgeous natural wonders are its beaches and coastal plains. After you've re-balanced your chi in Mother Nature, take a look around old towns and fortresses. If the sun is shining (or even if it's not), you could also get out there and try out some popular local pastimes like mountain climbing and hiking.

Jeonju is another place where you can sit back and make friends with the room service menu. Located 50 kilometres southeast of Songsu-ri, it's where you'll find the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla. If you're keen to spend a night or two in Jeonju, consider the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. 70 kilometres to the north of Songsu-ri you can also stay at Asan, home to the Onyang Grand Hotel and Hoseo Hotel. The Onyang Folk Museum and Maeng Sa-seong House are among the more popular places to check out when visiting Asan.

370,000 residents live in Cheonan. You'll find this district 75 kilometres northeast of Songsu-ri. Local attractions worth checking out include the Independence Hall of Korea, Hyundai Bowling Center and the Gakwonsa Temple. There is a great selection of places to stay available in Cheonan. However, the Rexhotel, Cheonan Central Tourist Hotel and SKY Hotel are a couple of the hottest. The Hotel Ballantine, K2 Hotel, Zaza Hotel and Hotel Cherbourg are more great hotel options.
