Staff was so nice and welcoming. There is coffee and tea available 24/7 in lobby. Breakfast is grab and go, which is nice. Rooms on the smaller side, and they not very sound proof. We could hear everyone all the time, and our room was next to the door to the ice machine. The shower door was off the track and the shower itself was dirty, which we didn’t initially notice since we were out all day. The views are amazing, and it was a close drive to Sleepy Hollow and Bear Mountain.

Was so excited when I got there. View was lovely. Quickly turned ugly when the room was not up to standards. Bed sheets were dirty, and mouse droppings were on the desk. It was an eventful night when between 6 to 7 mice were openly in daylight and evening running around the floor and up the wires of the light.

Our rooms were fine, clean and neat, nicely stocked with linens and essential toiletries. Balconies on two of the rooms, overlooking Hudson River - beautiful! No complaints, we were happy to stay here.

There were a lot of mice. When we were leaving we noticed they ate through our snack bag and got into all of the items in bag. We heard things throughout the night but didn’t think that much about it, if we would have left if we knew sooner.

The balcony view featured a raccoon that kept on trying to get into our room so it was not good. My daughter was scared and we were upset because it would not go away but kept on trying to get inside.

Never Again

The room was disgusting. Cobwebs and spiders in the corners, ashes in the drawer (which tracks, because the second you open the door you get hit with the smell of weed), and a floor spot that I’m just going to keep telling myself was dried-up ketchup. The beds were stiff, uneven, and honestly felt like they’ve been there since the 1960s. The only thing this place has going for it is the view; and even that doesn’t come close to making up for the rest of it. For nearly $200 a night, I expected at least a clean room and a decent night’s sleep. Instead, I got the complete opposite. What really sealed it for me was that I have never stayed at a hotel where the concierge didn’t even bother to ask how my stay was… until now. It pretty much confirms what I already thought; this place has zero care or pride in what they offer. They lure you in with the “view” and forget everything else. Save your money and your sanity. I’d rather stay at a Motel 6 for $59 a night than ever stay here again.
