Book Sogawa hotels

Very good quality hotel much like a modern premier inn in the UK. Wouldn't be hesitate to stay here or in another comfort inn in Japan again.

Staff is very helpful.

Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. It’s about 20km through the mountains from Nosegawa Onsen to Koyasan, walking on a mix of well-kept trails and paved roads; overall, a moderately difficult hike with very good signage. I highly recommend Kohechi hikers to stay at this hotel.

Friendly staff, incredible town, perfect hostel to explore area. Information about local busses posted on walls was very helpful. I booked an extra night here because I loved it so much!

The hotel is big and the room is big too for our family. The service is really good and they offer free drinks in the lobby. The hotel is old but comfortable. We need to wear our slippers in the hallway because it is a Japanese hotel. My kids enjoyed their comic room even if they don't read Japanese.

The nearest dining place is 30mins drive and there's nothing to eat in the hotel tho there's a restaurant in the hotel but it's not open. We have to clear our own trash. Staff do not speak english.bed is hard and pillow to thin and soft.
