Skinner is a great place for bird watching. The number of daily visitors is limited to protect the environment, so it's not always possible to get there. On Monday late June we recorded 36 species.
Skomer Island, Wales
The Island of Skomer just off the Pembrokeshire coast is home for a short time each year to a colony of Atlantic Sea Puffins. Its well worth the trip to see these amazing birds.
A place to visit especially in May to June when the Puffins nest on the island. If you are lucky you can catch shots of them with fish in their mouths ready to feed their young.
If you love Puffins, you definitely have to go to Skomer Island in South Wales. During season (may- mid july), the hole island is full of those lovely birds. But be aware that tickets are strictly limited to a maximum of 250 per day. They are offered on a first come first served basis, so be at the ticket shop early enough. #Wales #Nature #Skomer #wildlife #Puffin
