A stay at Hyatt House Austin/Downtown places you in the heart of Austin, within a 15-minute walk of Sixth Street and University of Texas at Austin.
It was spacious and quiet!!!! It also had lots of lobby space and also outdoor seating area by the pool. The bed was comfortable as well. It was in a good central downtown location but about a block away from all the loud craziness of downtown.

All staff was excellent, and I appreciated the available coffee! Overall I thought the price I paid ($497) for two nights was far too high for the quality of the hotel, and I have regrets about booking at La Quinta. I do understand that it was SXSW and prices are likely higher around that time.
