"Room rates are high for the quality of amenities provided and overall services. There's no room service, the on site cafe uses concentrates for all beverages, and some of these containers are not even close to being stored hygienically. The staff are ok but service is slow if you want extra towels ..."

"One of the best places to stay. The resort retains the old Kerala vibe although providing all the modern amenities one requires for a comfortable stay. The staff is courteous, warm and responsive. Their breakfast spread is nice. It’s worth the money spent."

When you stay at Hindustan Beach Retreat in Varkala, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Varkala Beach and 5 minutes by foot from Varkala Cliff.
"Water was not coming in the flush when checked in. It was rectified within half hour. Said that tank was empty. Okey, but early in the morning, the situation was same. Just imagine flush not working early in the morning, and not having a bucket or things like that. Secondly, even after rectification ..."
