We had an amazing vacation at Simpson bay resort. Lovely views from the villa room, friendly stuff, amazing food all around the resort, including grocery stores.

Room was in good condition but dated. Staff was nice. Hotel shuttle service ends at 10:45 pm and you can't walk to room from the street because the resort is on a hill. Inconvenient to have to get a taxi right in front of the resort to bring you up the hill, and taxi can't bring you to your room only to the security gate. So you still have to climb a bit of a hill depending on where your room is.

Our room was very dark. No natural lighting at all. Felt secluded from everything. There was also ants in the kitchen. We were under the impression the gym was free, like most hotels, but it wasn’t.
