This was a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. A Great combination of mountains and ocean.
The house was very clean, neat, and tidy. Towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, and shower products are provided.
While this is a compact Japanese house, it felt very spacious to me. A nicely appointed kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, a big TV with sound bar, and multiple places to sit and enjoy the great views.
There are a few things to keep in mind to ensure this property is a good fit.
The drive to this location is about 45 minutes from Iwakuni. I felt it was a pleasant drive, but traffic gets tight during rush hours.
The road leading to the house from the main road is steep, single-lane, and winding. Use a low gear and go slowly the first few times, and things will be fine. I think it would be best to arrive the first time during the day to get accustomed to the drive.
Parking was not an issue for me as other reviews have noted. There are two spots close to the property stairs and a larger parking area about 100 feet away.
