Good spacious suite with clean modern bathroom. People were extremely helpful, especially the chefs Ashok and Ashish in accommodating my special meal requirement.

Overall a very good stay

I just had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Vijan Palace in Jabalpur, April 9 - April 10 - and my experience totally exceeded my expectations. As soon as I walked in the door, the staff showed me professionalism, respect, and hospitality that made me feel comfortable and welcomed - honestly (I felt at home). My check-in was smooth and it didn't take long before I was in my room. My room was clean! It was very tastefully decorated, and I had everything I needed to feel comfy - including thoughtful touches. The furnishings were of high quality too. In fact everything I saw in the hotel felt very high quality and well thought out. I believe the owners of Hotel Vijan Palace are very accomplished people who have made an effort to create an elegant experience for guests in what is typically not an elegant environment. The food was excellent, and the dining experience was great. There are a variety of options in the restaurant, both locally and internationally, that were prepared and served nicely. I took advantage of the breakfast buffet each morning, and it was one of the best breakfast buffets I have experienced - amazing selection of tasty food that is perfect to set you up for your day. Also, the location of the hotel is excellent for business or leisure tourists, as it's quite close to most things a visitor would want to experience. The meetings spaces are also top notch.
