Location, location, location! Steps from the best street for restaurants as well as the cathedral! The apartment is as shown, modern, clean and ample space. I loved the terrace. The host was super and helpful! The only reason for 4 stars for property condition is the elevator was broken the entire time and the key to access the front door of the building is ridiculously difficult. Other than that, perfect!

The neighborhood is the biggest asset

At the last minute we decided to travel to Sevilla for a quick 2 night stay. We are glad that we chose this neighborhood: many tapas bars and authentic feel, close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. This apartment worked well for our family of 3 (my husband and I stayed upstairs, daughter stayed in the bedroom down). If it is important to you, this apartment is not stocked with anything other than towels, a small bar of soap and shampoo. (No salt/pepper, no coffee, not even a sponge nor handsoap at the kitchen sink). The apartment itself had a stale smell and did not feel clean (I don't think that the floors had been mopped). Upon check-in, (4pm), the apartment was still being cleaned and we had to wait at the door for someone to arrive to let us in. Again, the apartment was fine for us for 2 nights, but more from a utilitarian way. Given what I know now, I would seek out another place.

Very nice modern apartment hidden away in the old town

We loved the stay at the apartment. It is very centrally located and is in walking distance to everything in the city center. The A/C and other amenities are modern. No cars can get in to this part of the old town but the cathedral is a short walk and is a good place to catch a cab to get further out since the tram and the metro doesn't really service the city center. I rented a car for a few days and had to park in a garage within a 15 min walk.

Very comfortable for a family of 4. Couldn't be better located for seeing all the sights of Seville. Two minutes to the cathedral. Lots of cafes and restaurants right outside the door, but the apartment is very quiet. In fact you can't even hear the noise on the deck upstairs. Amazing. Came with all the amenities. Wonderful place. Great communication to check in.

Incredible location. Off a pedestrian street, so be careful if driving as some of the streets nearby aren’t for cars. So many good restaurants nearby, communication was excellent, right next to the church, apartment has two full baths and a washer. Overall a very authentic Spanish apartment and feel. Cannot recommend more!

Nice apartment in Seville

The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great location, near the Cathedral, Real Alcazar, and tons of tapas restaurants. Although right off of Calle Mateos Gago, which is a main street in the neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants, the apartment was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We loved wandering through the narrow and twisty streets of the historic neighborhood where the apartment is located.

This property was a GEM. We stayed here with our 6 and 8 year old and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location was unbelievable and close to everything and it was the perfect haven to come home to and sit on the balcony after the kids went to bed. A dream.

The apartment is perfectly located near the Real Alcazar and Cathedral. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms separated by a floor, providing privacy. The living area big and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Wonderful apartment in a fabulous location

We loved our visit to Seville and are so thankful we booked this apartment for the week. We were met by Theresa, who showed us the apartment and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants. The apartment was clean, well appointed and decorated, and was a very comfortable stay for our family of 5. We spent many mornings and evenings relaxing on the terrace. The location is absolutely perfect in the Santa Cruz area of the city and we were able to walk everywhere. We would highly recommend this apartment to any visitors to Seville!

Mateos Gago apartment 16/10/17 to 19/10/17

Perfect location for exploring Seville and surrounded by excellent places to eat and watch the world go by. Within a very short walking distance of the magnificent cathedral. The apartment is well furnished and has all modern amenities. The only downside is that the kettle should be of a regular size and not a one cup capacity! If leaving late on departure day the hotel 'The Bellhop', only 50 metres walk along Calle Angeles, provides excellent storage for bags etc. Nearby taxi rank on Mateos Gago provides excellent service to the train station and local attractions. Would have awarded 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of a good kettle!!!!!!!!
