Misty Ridge – RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in is after 4:00 p.m. EST, and check-out is by 10:00 a.m. EST.
2. Smoking Policy
This is a non-smoking cabin. Smoking is permitted only on the deck, and cigarette butts must be disposed of in the proper receptacles.
If smoking occurs inside the cabin or remediation is required, a $250.00 fine will apply.
3. Minimum Age Requirement
We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
4. Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your dates, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. This will be automatically withdrawn from your card on file.
5. Cancellations
o A 30-day notice is required for cancellation.
o Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.
o Cancellations or changes made within 30 days of arrival, or early departures, will forfeit the full advance payment.
o Note: Some booking sites maintain their own cancellation policies; please review details specific to your reservation platform.
6. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Please be respectful of neighboring guests. Continued noise disturbances may result in removal from the property without refund.
7. Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy is eight (8) guests, with a maximum of six (6) adults.
8. Minimum Stay
A two (2) night minimum stay is required. Longer minimums may apply during holidays. Reservations for fewer than two nights will be charged the two-night rate.
9. Inclusive Fees
Rates include a one-time linen and towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
10. Housekeeping
Daily maid service is not included, but can be arranged for an additional fee.
Please bring your own pool and hot tub towels.
Towels and linens may not be removed from the cabin.
Before departure, guests must:
o Load and start the dishwasher.
o Place all trash in the bear-proof container outside.
Failure to follow checkout procedures may result in additional charges.
11. Pet Policy
This is a pet-friendly cabin, there is an additional pet fee. .
Bringing pets without prior approval will result in a $250.00 fine.
12. Falsified Reservations
Any reservation obtained under false pretenses will result in forfeiture of all payments, and the party will not be permitted to check in or may be asked to leave immediately.
13. Written Exceptions
Any exceptions to these policies must be approved in writing prior to arrival.
14. State of Emergency Policy
No refunds will be issued unless the National Weather Service declares a mandatory state of emergency in the guest’s area of residence.
In such cases, refunds will be provided for:
a. Any unused portion of rent for guests currently registered.
b. Any unused portion of rent for guests scheduled to arrive after the emergency is lifted.
c. Any advance rents collected for reservations during the state of emergency period.
