Sure, you could spend the whole time just in Setzu, but you're gonna have FOMO. For some truly epic memories, you've gotta explore Sardinia's other attractions. Don't even think of heading home without visiting some of the region's stunning beaches, forests and wetlands. Ruins, traditional villages and old towns are also worth a look around. If the sun is shining (or even if it's not), you could also get out there and have a whirl at some popular local pastimes like mountain biking, rock climbing and mountain climbing.

It's well known that Aussies are pretty laid back, so consider hanging round a little longer and checking out the Sa Domu e S'Orcu Tomb of the Giants and the Genna Maria Archaeological Museum in Collinas, 14 kilometres to the southwest of Setzu. The Sa Muredda and Sardegna Termale Hotel & SPA are some of the great apartment and hotel options here. 35 kilometres to the northwest of Setzu you can also stay at Oristano, which is home to the Hotel Mistral 2 and Mariano IV Palace Hotel. Whether you're shooting through or staying in Oristano, don't miss Church of Santa Chiara and the Eleanor of Arborea Statue.

Cagliari is located 60 kilometres away from Setzu and has a population of 150,000. When you're there, you'd be nuts if you didn't visit the International Trade Fair of Sardinia, Sanctuary and Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria and the Museo di Bonaria. Basilica of San Saturnino and Cagliari Cathedral are a few more which are sure to offer up some photo ops. There is a good number of hotels and lodgings in Cagliari, with the Hotel Miramare and T Hotel topping the list.
