Very nice hotel. The location was convenient as long as you are physically able to walk down a very steep incline when coming back to the property. The staff was excellent. The restaurant and bar are exemplary. Many of the small details like linens and mattresses could use some improvement. Also there is no true resort amenity. The pool is nice but no food/ beverage service is offered there. There was a water carafe set up at an empty bar but was just left unattended and empty from Sunday afternoon until we left Friday morning. Our room had an issue that the hotel tried to address with a bandaid approach early in the stay . We finally had to move for our last night. They were kind and gracious about the issue. Comped the least expensive meal we had enjoyed which was still appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the friendly service from 100% of the staff and the convenient location + valet parking service. Just enjoying the art displayed at the hotel is worth your time. They are very pet friendly. And OMG the margaritas… you have to spend time at the bar. They are pros. The spa is a bit overpriced IMO compared to spas I’ve experienced in other destinations and here again could use some improvement on fine details. Slamming cabinet doors and squeaky chairs have no place in a spa room! The services delivered were wonderful but the delivery was less than devine.
