Pamlico Cottage is a little slice of heaven. Our family and pups spent Thanksgiving at Mary's home. She did a great job furnishing and decorating with beautiful antique pieces. We loved the fireplace, spending time on the enclosed backroom and taking in the breathtaking views of the Pamlico River. The sunsets are unbelievable! Our son enjoyed fishing off the dock with the fishing poles that are provided. Seamless check in/out process. The kitchen is fully stocked and she even included napkins, paper plates/towels, garbage bags, condiments.... Beds were comfortable and there's plenty of linens. Our family would definitely love to visit again. Thank you for opening your home to us.

This is a lovely, quiet property and perfect for getting away from the bustling city life. Me and my spouse spent 3 days here and we would do it again without question. Between warming up on a cold night at the fire pit, star gazing, spotting deers on the property in the evenings and early mornings, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.When we checked-in, we found (what looked like the previous visitor's) used towels in the bathroom. That was a little bit of a bummer but I'm not taking down the rating just for that as it could happen to anyone once. The host assured it won't happen again and the cleaner (we ran into during checkout) was also apologetic and nice. I'm mentioning it here in case it does happen again to someone, they'll know it's a repeat incident.

Ez Breezy stay! We had a great time fishing off the dock and our hound loved the sound of the wooden planks and would zoom up and down the walkway. A special Thanksgiving memory. No complaints about amenities. Enjoyable time was had by our family.

The sunroom is perfect for enjoying the view even when it’s freezing outside! Always a great stay and Cindy is super nice and communicative!

Every thing was in order and the showers were hot. Thank you so much Rachel for the stay we will definitely be back next year, heck we might be back this year lol. Take care. And Godless . I highly recommend this place for any hunter or fisherman.

Great stay for our 2 week hunting trip! Had everything we needed! The property manager was very easy to get ahold of and accommodated us with specific needs for check-in & check-out. The plus was that it was Pet friendly so our Remi girl got to come with us! Only gave it a 4 start for kid-friendly because it is close to the road and swampy behind but there is plenty of space for a family of 4 in the house! Hope to stay next year!
