Very nice property and superb staff. The river deck right on the Savannah River was a treat. My only negative was the parking fee. Considering the room price you would think parking your car in an open lot would be free?

The hotel was very nice, clean & properly updated. A very nice lobby, bar & common areas with direct views of the river. We were in a “partial ocean” view room yet it was a full on river view. From the 8th floor it felt like being on a ship. We watch the massive barges carrying cargo go back & daily. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpfu. As our 1st visit to Savannah. The only negative was the pool which was on the side with no views & looking into the parking garage next door. With the high temperatures while there we didn’t try to use the poo; as there was not even a breeze due to the buildings blocking it. An unexpected nice perk was the local water type taxi dropped off & picked up directly behind the property, allowing to travel free down the river to the center point of the river walk action. The boat was very large & clean & consistently on schedule. I would recommend if you book here to request at least a partial river view. It was enjoyable even without a balcony. I do recommend the Marriott Riverfront Savannah.

The staff were all very friendly, the hotel was clear, the riverfront view is beautiful, and the river street area is awesome. We only had two complaints: the pillows and the air conditioning. The pillows offered very little support, our heads sunk all the way into them. My wife and I need our bedroom to be cool to sleep and the air conditioning never got the room very cold.

Read the fine print. Not one adminity is free. Not even internet. The building is old and blocks most of your phone signal to force internet putchase. The price listed for the room is literally just for a bed to sleep in. Rented a king with a balcony and got a family suite. This place is just an over priced love motel.

I love the location and was really glad I made the decision to stay there. My only wish is that I would have gotten a room that faces the river. My room faced the inside of the hotel. While I didn't have a problem with the room, I did ask for one facing the river but was told there wasn't one available because of construction noise (which really wasn't true). Nonetheless, if I were to visit again, I would definitely plan to stay here. Everything was great.
