While the overall stay was good, I cannot give a full 5 stars due to a few reasons. Firstly, the staff was very friendly, including the manager Sophia. The view from our honeymoon suite was beautiful and exactly like the pictures online. However, there were a few important issues that made the stay less enjoyable. • Cost of Taxi Transfers / Hidden Costs I highly recommend not booking airport transportation through the hotel. An Uber ended up being significantly cheaper than what we were charged for a simple 12-minute drive. It came to almost $70 CAD, which is unreasonable for such a short trip. On our way back to the airport after checkout, Grand View arranged another ride for us through an external company since we had an early flight. The driver arrived 10 minutes late and then demanded cash payment on the spot. Since it was our last day in Europe, we did not have enough cash left. He then made us walk to an ATM, where we had to pay an additional $20 in ATM fees on top of the already expensive ride. After bringing this concern to Grand View’s attention, I was simply told they were unaware cash was required and then wished a safe flight, which felt dismissive considering the situation. • Ants in the Room While the room itself was generally clean, we noticed a large number of ants beside the bed (photo attached). The best thing about the property is the amazing view of the caldera and proximity to Fira and Oia. The stuff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is available to enjoy on your own balcony. Free parking near by. I would stay there again.

L'hôtel idéal pour profiter de Santorin ! La vue est tellement magnifique que ça semble irréel ! Juste bien placé pour passer facilement du calme à l'action. Staff hyper accueillant et disponible. Déjeuner délicieux, soigné et copieux. Pas besoin de payer pour une chanbre avec vue étant donné l'accès facile au balcon-lounge, à la section piscine et à des points de vue. Un hôtel de rêve !

Incredibly helpful staff. Gorgeous views. Perfect quieter location, but with everything you need nearby. Lots of steps, so bring comfortable shoes!

Wow. What an amazing stay at this hotel -- the staff we're amazing. Myself and my cousin had the lovelist rest time at this hotel. I came from London whereas my cousin came from New York and this was her first time coming to Europe and she absolutely loved Greece.
