Location is very good. NIce walk and restaurants around. We also had a lot of free parking around hotel. Staff was very nice to us even gave me an upgrade and they wished me happy birthday at check out they remembers. Nice touch.

A pleasant enough stay at the Rio Silken, a 5 night break mainly as a base for the football in Bilbao! Room was fine, bed was comfy for good nights rest, and the staff more than helpful and responsive.

Mainly good stay

Towels were changed almost daily. One issue we had was that tea and coffee were not automatically replenished. This had to be paid for. Not 4 star service. Hotel very well situated right in the front close to all the bars and restaurants and beaches of El Sardinero

Highly Recommend

The greatest asset is the staff. They were endlessly helpful to me in working out all sorts of issues, especially about train travel in Spain. One negative for me: the sharply sloping ceilings in my room are hazardous to a tall person. I hit my head hard several times during my stay. Next time I would like a different style of room if they are available.
