Pros: beautiful old buildings set in lovely gardens. Cons: the staff at the hotel were unwelcoming and rude. When we arrived, the staff were arguing and extremely rude- I stood at the reception awkwardly waiting to be acknowledged while the two women at reception argued in Italian. We felt like the staff didn’t want us there. It’s unclear what time the bar opens at the pool, they should be clear about that. The vegan / vegetarian options at the restaurant are strange (there is a vegan burger but it wasn’t a burger at all) The food at breakfast didn’t taste fresh. There is a private pool that you can hire for an hour for 100 euros, this felt expensive and we weren’t aware of this cost.

Lots that was good some not so good

The old buildings are beautiful. The room we had 505 was an old stable. The pool was magnificent and always plenty of sun loungers available. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful. However the room was small, there was no WiFi apart from at the pool and the main building. The evening meal was not good. Cold parmigiana and very limp chicken salad with no dressing offered.

My niece and I stayed at Villa Favorita for two nights with identical bedrooms (303 and 302). Each bedroom had a nice little balcony. The rooms were on the smaller side - as were the bathrooms - but for one person per room they are adequate. The hotel itself is a beautiful, rustic complex of buildings (I assume an old farmhouse). The swimming pool is very large and has fantastic views of old town Noto in the distance. The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the beach and old town Noto (about 8-10 minutes by car to either direction). I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and very Sicilian. Highly recommend it if you have a car. Noto and the beach are close but you need a car. Restaurant on site was very good with reasonable priced offerings.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, reception staff very pleasant and excellent English spoken, other staff less fluent. Pool vast and lovely. Our main issue was poor/non-existent Wi-fi.

Amazing experience at the Villa

Villa Favorita Relais has been a really amazing experience during our travels in Sicily. We felt the history of the building and it was great to stay a few days in the countryside surrounded by olive and lemon trees. The breakfast is amazing and we advise to have a meal here (we had dinner one night) as the food is really good, cooked with fresh organic ingredients. The use of the swimming pool is a bonus and is very refreshing to be able to chill by it after so much exploring. The area offers so many lovely destinations to visit a few miles away, from the towns to the beaches. The staff working at the Villa is very professional and everybody works really hard to keep the level of service offered at a very high standard. This place has been a real taste of Sicily! We do recommend it to anyone.

This is a wonderful hotel for families. The pool is lovely, and the staff were very welcoming and informative. Unfortunately for the hotel being a 4 star hotel we did not understand why towels couldn't be changed and if you requested for extra towels or new towels we would be charged a fee. We had to air dry our towel on a clothing line. There were a few things that I can not classify this as a true 4star hotel but staff made up for it.

Amazing peppery with a wonderful swimming pool.

It's a lovely hotel very close to noto. You will definitely need a car. Views are amazing and the swimming pool is to die for. Cons are rooms need major update. Mattress is terrible. Breskfast is so bad. We went to eat at 9 am and most of the dishes were empty. Artificial fruit juices. Horrible jam. It's not cheap so they can at least make a decent breakfast. They served Lipton tea ewwwwww.

A little too modern but great quiet location

This was the only hotel we stayed in that seemed a little too cold/industrial definitely not a converted palazzo. Did have a great view and okay breakfast and parking was easy once we figured out how to find the hotel. Staff was helpful and location was great. Just walk up and you will find everything!

Disappointing

This hotel must be run by accountants! The staff were friendly but their rules were difficult to deal with: Restaurant closed in March (not expected). The shower flooded the bathroom. The breakfast food was recycled each day - we had the same cake for 3 days. The buildings and decoration are outstanding; it is a gem but the fittings (like the shower) are shoddy. The TVs are 1980s vintage and no English stations; the WiFi is not available in the bedrooms and is charged for by the quarter hour....and the location map on Hotels.com is inaccurate and takes you to some really seedy locations before you find it. Great place, lost opportunity.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig. Viele Unternehmungen sind von dort aus mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Angebot beim Frühstück hervorragend. Wünschenswert wäre ein Kaffee-Teezubereiter im Zimmer.
