Book Santa Maria da Devesa hotels

This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel was extremely charming with excellent staff. It’s located within the castle walls and near the entrance of the castle, which is open 24/7. The hot tub area is by reservation only (no charge), so me and my husband drank wine and watched sunset all by ourselves. They also provide thick robes in the bedrooms for this. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options to choose from: meats, cheeses, cereal, fresh pastries, fruit and more. Highly recommend staying at this lovely Inn.

The hotel is very clean and charming. The staff were exceptionally nice. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of options. The pool area was also clean, but needs a little love.

Staff was very helpful and friendly! The pool is a community pool, but the hotel has a section of reserved chairs for hotel guests. eBikes were included in the reservation so we biked for ~30 minutes to go down by the river and make it easier to get back up to the hotel. Free, onsite, self parking is always nice!

A well run and beautifully kept old hotel with a lot of history in the centre of town.

Very quiet beautifully furnished property outside village in country on 10 acres with gated drive. Owners very accommodating and knowledgeable about area. Good breakfast. Very relaxing couple days!
