Great place to stay within walking distance to the plaza and restaurants. Only thing was with cleaning service. On first day they took the soiled towels and and left only one. For my wife and I. The second day they took the hand towels and wash cloths, and left none.... but at least I had 2 towels

Incompetent front desk staff. They could not locate my pre-paid Expedia reservation. Then, after about 30-min discussion, the pre-payment was allegedly accepted, and yet, I was charged for the room again, and the charges on my credit card do not match the settled bill that I have requested at the check-out. It borderlines to the fraud, since one of the staff members (at the front desk on Sunday, 8/3/2025 morning) refused to achnolaged my pre-payment, stating that the erroneous charges are intentional. In addition - the same staff member hanged up on me, when I insisted on my pre-payment claim. Terrible experience, probably the worst I ever had in years of my extensive travel.

The location is convenient, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the hotel, pool area and parking lots are very tired and in need of a full remodel. I find it egregious that they charge $31/day for parking in a broken pavement lot.

Hotel building was great, especially swimming pool. Service could have been better… it really felt no one with responsibility was actually thinking about the clients, but just doing their minimum job: few examples here 1) restaurant: the first night I arrived later in the day and wanted to eat at the restaurant: I ordered a salad at the counter before seating at the table. Got the salad 15min later and at the moment to pay I was given a receipt to add tip. I added 2usd equivalent to 10%. The guy took the receipt and added in the system 4usd. He asked me if I was ok, and given I did not wanted to create further drama just for 2 usd, I said ok… then I left and never returned to the restaurant for the whole holiday stay 2) concierge: the first morning, the people in the room adjacent to mine started loud music at 0645 am, hence I called concierge asking to do something as I would have preferred sleeping and the answer I got was “we have silent hours only till 0630am so I cannot do anything” , to which I replied that at 0645 it is normal for people still to sleep. 3) cleaning ladies: almost every day we were getting waken up by them knocking at the door around 0830 am, even if we stayed there for over 7 days

**A Wonderful Stay at Hilton Historic Santa Fe Plaza** Our recent visit to the Hilton Historic Santa Fe Plaza was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an exceptionally friendly clerk. We got there a bit early after a long drive from Taos, carrying quite a bit of wine, and were pleasantly surprised when they offered us temporary storage for our luggage until our room was ready. The staff throughout our stay were not only friendly but also incredibly courteous, assisting us with our belongings and making the check-in process seamless. Our room was truly delightful—immaculately clean, featuring a wonderful shower, and the mattress was so comfortable that my husband and I slept like rocks! One aspect we particularly appreciate is that this Hilton property is welcoming to queer visitors and couples. It made us feel right at home and added to the overall positive experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so memorable!

Management took it upon themselves to send us a "gift basket" for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast staff was quick to remember us (we ate breakfast there every morning). 90% of the places we wanted to eat were within .5 miles, so walking was always an option. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. My only complaint is that the shower stall lacks rails for holding onto, and the tile floor can become slick. Providing a shower mat or its equivalent would solve this issue (in the three "special" exterior rooms.
