Upon entering, I was not greeted. Haley, (I later found out her name), was working on the computer and just asked for my last name and credit card. I informed her that i booked through Hotels.com and presented my itinerary number.Haley was having difficulty and went to get the assistance of Brenda, (I found her name out when she answered the phone as she didn’t acknowledge me at all). I did tell them that there initially was 2 reservations but I canceled one and I called Hotels.com and verified that the cancelation had been processed. My reservation was found and I was checked in. There was no coutesy or pleasantries exchanged at all. It was awkward and uncomfortable. The room was below standards and was more like an hourly motel. I purchased Lysol spray and wipes in an attempt to sanitize the room myself. I purchased water to drink as well. I didn’t want to interact with the front desk staff by requesting water due to earlier interactions. I went to meet my grandson and upon return, (it was evening time), and dark, I had to go to the rear of the building near the dumpster to get to my room. There were several vehicles parked in the lot with people in them... just sitting in the parking lot. I rushed to the door as quickly as possible. I used the ironing board as a form of barricade. I didn’t sleep well between the loud A/C unit and concern for my personal safety.
A/C unit was extremely loud. I couldn't hear the television and couldn't sleep. It also had dust /dirt on it.
A/C unit not working properly. I attempted to lower the temperature and it didn't cool the room.
Night stand had splotches, (paint, I assume), that wasn't cleaned.
Paper blinds were broken and appeared to be glued shut to the sill. The cord housing was falling off.

Wanted a floor level room due to disabilities, had none, almost fell attempting to sit on a toilet that is made for a 2 year old. Had to take elevator up front then walk halfway down the hotel to the room. Not handicap friendly.

Although I had specified on my reservation and verbally declared our Emotional Support Animal, and initialled for the fee at checkin the receptiomist chased us down the hallway insisting we hadnt paid a dog fee. She did apologize when realizing her error in thinking I was someone else but not a pleasant way to start a getaway. Aldo the plastic handles on the sink and shower need a thorough scrubbing pretty gross!

Meh...

The room was ok, the bathrooms are in SERIOUS need of updating. The shower needs the grout cleaned or redone, the shower curtain is all yellowed and since they don't have one of those bowed rails, it rubs against you the whole time you're showering (Ugh!), and the toilet is tiny and meant for midgets...oh, and didn't flush well either. The faucet for the sink sucked too. I cancelled the last 2 nights of my stay. All they'd have to do is spend the time and money to fix those things and it would have been a LOT better, and I'd consider staying there again. As it is, no.
