Welcome to Adobe Ristra, a beautifully restored adobe casa in the heart of the Historic East Side, close to Canyon Road, Dale Ball Trailheads, and The Randall Davey Audubon Center. This 2-bed, 2-bath single-level home celebrates the historic architecture and aesthetic that makes Santa Fe a world-famous destination. From its hand-troweled plaster walls to its kiva fireplace and viga ceilings, the home exudes character.
LIVING AREA
Enter into a comfy parlor room, read in the evening by the Kiva fireplace or stage all your wears procured from the famed Santa Fe Markets. The heart of the home is its inviting living room, tucked in with a historic decorative kiva fireplace and warmed adobe surrounds. The curved plaster walls, artistic alcoves, and wood Vigas overhead set a cozy mood. This space is perfect for lounging, reading, or conversation. Temperature control is handled via a mini-split system for reliable comfort year-round.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen is beautifully tiled, upgraded with retro-inspired Big Chill appliances and outfitted with all necessary accessories to confidently head to the Saturday Farmers Market and prepare a meal at home. A stackable washer/dryer is tucked just off the kitchen for full convenience.
The dining area adjoins the kitchen and opens to the patio, making indoor/outdoor meals effortless and natural.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Step outside from the dining area to a private adobe-walled courtyard with a portal that provides shaded dining space. The outdoor dining area seats four. Outdoor seating is positioned for relaxing under Santa Fe skies or to enjoy the roses in the garden beds that border this sunny Santa Fe patio. A gas grill invites al fresco cooking.
BED AND BATH
Both cozy bedrooms have king size beds with high quality casper mattresses and cotton bedding. The furniture is custom made by Antigua Furnishings, using reclaimed wood and blends with the southwest style of the home. There is ample closet space and as the bedrooms are at the back of the house, they are quiet, allowing a relaxing sleep.
One of the bathrooms has a artistically tiled shower, and the other has a clawfoot tub. Both have updated fixtures and a tankless water heater to keep the warm water flowing smoothly.
Each bathroom has one step at the entry so would not be accessible with a wheelchair…
