Even though there aren't any hotels in Sangju's centre, there are 3 options within 30 kilometres where you can hit the sack (and perhaps hit the mini bar).

Lake Hills Songnisan Hotel and Lakehills Songnisan Hotel are some great choices! They're about as close to the centre of Sangju as you'll find.

The Songnisan Grand Hotel & Condo, 25 kilometres from central Sangju, is one more option in Sangju.

Everyone knows Aussies are pretty laid back, so consider chilling out a little longer and checking out the Cheongju National Museum and the Cheongju Early Printing Museum in Cheongju, 55 kilometres to the west of Sangju. Or, you could stay in Andong, 65 kilometres to the east of Sangju, where you'll find the Andong Richell Hotel and Andong Grand Hotel. Sitting 80 kilometres to the southeast of Sangju is Daegu, a regional centre with a population of 2,600,000. It's where you'll find some sweet attractions, like the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, Apsan Park and Dongsan Bowling Center. Daegu Cultural and Arts Hall History of Soil Hall and E-World are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some photo ops.
