Wi-Fi did not work most of the night and day. They claimed repairs were being done. But for over a week. At the end there was no electricity or even water. Therefore not sanitary. The staff was very sweet. It was fairly close to beautiful Playa Mahajual. The faulty, usually non-existent Wi-Fi prevented me from getting necessary work done. The breakfasts were good. The hotel is set in a beautiful oasis with Palm trees and a welcoming pool. Both the staff and guests were a pleasure to know. These issues can be resolved so as to make Hotel Mahajal a great hotel.

Nice staff and clean. Could improve amenities, wifi was spotty.

Front desk not to friendly but the rest of the people were nice and in the shower hot water was the best and I love the gym everything nearby. Everything was great good location thank you.

Great experience at this beautiful hotel

The hotel doesn't have wifi on most rooms, it's 2026 wifi nowdays is part of everyone's life. The pools were most of the time really hot to the point it was not refreshing also these were heavily chlorinated to the point i had an alergic reaction. The food most of the time was really good soft drinks are not good most of the time it tasted like water with sugar instead of tamarindo or jamaica. The dinner restaurants schedule was not available, it was a surprise every morning when doing the reservation, i would suggest a weekly schedule for the guests to know which restaurant to chose when. The staff was really good and helpful. There seems that they have issues with the amount of towels for the rooms since they had issues providing these every day. There is something really annoying which is the vacation package sellers being outside of the breakfast restaurant.

Good hotel. Rooms are dated. The bar area is too loud with soccer constantly playing on the TVs.
