My husband and I just returned from a stay for 4 days at this resort for his birthday. We travel quite often, but it was our first time in Puerto Rico. Overall, the resort was great! Food was amazing! Staff was helpful and friendly! There were a couple of issues, but they were quickly rectified! The hold that was to be placed on my credit card at check in didn't register (due to a glitch in their system is what we were told), so I had to return to the front desk 3 times and swiped it each time - subsequently placing the $610 hold three times. However, as soon as i brought it to their attention, they assured me that it would be fixed ASAP - and it was. The other thing was at check out, there was a $94 charge that was charged to our room account at one of the restaurants that we never went to. But, again, as soon as we brought it to the front desk's attention, they immediately reversed the charge. The last issue was that the telephone in our room wasn't working so we had to keep going to the front desk. We were told that engineering would come to fix it, but no one ever did. It was okay though, because the facilities are so beautiful that we didn't mind the walk. Also, be ready to be awakened by the music that is blasted outside beginning at 8 am. While the morning music was pretty zen, it was kind of difficult to go back to sleep bc it was so loud. We plan on returning next year w our children once all of the renovations are complete. Hopefully the casino will be open by then.
