elevators were broke had to use staff one some workers were nice while others not so much - one shoved me in corner with a large trash can - didn’t get clean towels and had to ask for them a couple times- not a very friendly staff but hotel is conveniently located and price is reasonable - vallet workers are nice no “real” restaurant in hotel as the accommodation's advise

I give this property a strong 4 out of 10. Will not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it. Not sure how they got such high reviews, for starters the only thing that stays open late night is a bar & a gift shop. No room service or nothing. I stayed 3 nights and my room wasn’t cleaned during my stay. They pretty much just gave towels and rags and they reeked of bleach. The lamp and the shower head had rust all over it. The glass shower and the glass sliding door wasn’t clean. The room itself needed a good dusting. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets AT ALL. So I didn’t, which caused me to get not so good sleep for 3 nights. The balcony I had in my room was a complete joke. The balcony was so narrow I’m glad I only weight 150 pounds, i could only imagine a large person trying to squeeze on the balcony! The door is so heavy you can’t even enjoy a breeze from the ocean and simply let some fresh air in the room. They do have a sign saying basically the balcony is the way it is due to safety especially for small children and to avoid moisture build up in the room. Which I understand KINDA. It’s just like don’t make the balcony the selling point if that’s the case. It’s misleading. Also they do not answer the phone at the front desk what so ever. Now the pool area is nice, I give them that. 2 pools a hot tub, water slide and a beach. However the beaches a few blocks down seemed more exciting. More waves and fun. The “beach” at this hotel gave lagoon/lake vibes.

First impression, the unfriendly receptionist. She looked tried and sad. Room are so outdated and the bathroom shower had a constant dripping noise. Didn’t smell clean. We try calling front desk at 11 pm, never answered. Small lamp on one side didn’t work. Overall, stay was not a good experience. Won’t recommend it!

The staff were overall amazing and very friendly. The beach that connected to the property was a major bonus for my wife. The balcony view of the ocean was fantastic. However, what we noticed was that the air in the room was a little musty and overall hotel. There was only 1 elevator working but the morning we left another one went down. It seems like they put a lot of money and time into the lobby which is pretty swanky but the suites themselves and hallways were dated. Some of the fixtures needed replacing including the suite doors which seemed a little old and cheap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we are not sure if we would come back to this particular hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing to say the least. Our poor rating is not for the staff. The staff was friendly and always visible throughout the hotel, however reaching anyone at the front desk, concierge or housekeeping over the phone seemed nearly impossible. The hotel itself is very outdated and needed better housekeeping. The lobby is very beautiful, but we paid for our room not the lobby. Our room was a very nice large size but did not have working ventilation in the bathroom which was no good when using the toilet. The sliding double doors of the bathroom were broken and constantly came off the hinges when opening and closing. The furniture is out dated. Same furniture as when I first stayed at this hotel over 15 years ago. The one elevator available that takes guests to rooms upstairs is extremely slow!!!! Last night when we returned back to the hotel from dinner we noticed an awful smell in the lobby that smelled like backed up sewage. One of the guests told us that the smell has been there for hours. Outside the pool area is very nice however the drinks are extremely overpriced!!! We heard many people complaining about the cost of drinks at the pool. The beach is very small but nice. You can also buy water and food from a vendor that sells just in front of beach with very reasonable prices for waters, sodas and food. Our opinion is that if you are planning to stay in the Condado area that you consider staying at another hotel.

The Condado Plaza Hotel met all of my expectations! I came here to celebrate my 60th Birthday and they did not disappoint. Rooms were clean and spacious and the air conditioning was exceptional. Thank you for having me!
