Wish we’d stayed longer

The staff at Hotel Miramar were so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Very cute and quirky little hotel. We really appreciated its charm. Located near some great options for food and a convenient location for sightseeing.

The pictures are definitely better than what we arrived to. The water in the bathtubs backs up and fill the shower as you are in there. Hot water runs out fast. The bar pictured doesn’t actually serve drinks. You grab them yourselves from a refrigerator. The only good thing is that it’s super convenient and close to San Juan.

Nice but they need better mattresses

Everything was nice except the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. The location was excellent, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were large and clean. If only the mattresses were comfortable.

I’ve been staying at Hotel Miramar in San Juan for over a year now for business, and it never disappoints. The hotel is not luxurious, but it is always very clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and professional, and the hotel manager, Carl, is outstanding—attentive, professional, and always makes me feel at home. On my most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are opening a small coffee shop. They had delicious Puerto Rican coffee along with muffins and donuts, almost like a continental breakfast, which was a great addition. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-kept hotel with excellent service in a great location, Hotel Miramar is a fantastic choice!
