It was nice, I guess I set my expectations too high. Stayed in dorado beach before and it was a much different experience. Close to town but not a walkable area. Great room, view and deck. Staff was great. Drink to lets were a nice surprise but we didn’t use them.

The location turned out to be isolated. There was not good food options nearby and the in house food was not great. Lunch at the outdoor bar was fine. Dinner inside was average at best.

Excellent stay, staff was great! The ocean was beautiful. Make sure to bring water shoes if your going into the ocean. Overall me and my husband had a blast! Great way spend a honeymoon!

Great hospitality, awesome property, excellent ocean view room. I wouldn't think twice to visit again. We had loads of fun in pool, beach, Super Bowl event and lot more. They could certainly improve on food options as there weren't much vegetarian options.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast and Happy hour was very good as well. Staff were very friendly and professional. We had a nice, restful stay ... it's a little far out, so Uber/Lyft can add up to be a bit expensive. If you're comfortable renting a car, that may be more economical.

Second time here.. First time was good enough to go back. This time was better than first. A lot to do. Free breakfast is really great. And the hotel staff are amazing.. If u stay make sure you try Pirrilo Pizza Rústica.. 5 min drive.. my only complaint would be they could do a better job raking the beach. A lot of tree and ocean debris gets washed up..

The room was a little dirty, and the air filter for the room was completely filthy and barely in place, clearly neglected. The view from the room was nice. The balcony was barely furnished, two beach chairs, nothing else. The light for the balcony did not work. The TV in the room did not have any working channels, not connected to anything. Breakfast hours started and ended early, and food was the same every day, very basic american breakfast, not a lot of fruit, no variety of options from day to day. The staff were friendly. Dinner service was painfully slow. The complimentary drinks and snacks were disappointing, waiting in a long line for a drink, and they were very strict on the hours at the bar - free drink only from 5:30 to 7:00. We arrived shortly after 7:00 and were denied, it was a cold welcome to the resort. I would also avoid rooms on the top floors if you don't want to spend half your time there waiting for the elevator. The pool area was very nice. Pretty small beach but good for swimming.

In general, the facilities are beginning to look a little worn and could benefit from some renovations before they get too worn. The single elevator at the far side of the lobby was pretty noisy (the two others were silent) and rooms close to the single could be heard running all night. We were disappointed the pool bar/restaurant was only open from 11am-5:30pm, yet people could swim and be in the hot tub until 11pm. On our first night, the free reception featured drinks and light snacks, but the snacks were eliminated the nights thereafter.
