The location itself is fantastic, beautiful views, in the middle of mountains, relaxed and family friendly. The location is easy enough to get to, sat nav had no trouble finding it and the mighty fiat 500 rental made it no problem. This is a farm stay, dont expect the Hilton and power showers, however do expect donkeys, horses, cows, dogs, cats and the occasional scorpion (they aren't particularly dangerous apparently) The hosts Matteo and Francesca are very attentive and friendly. The prices are fair, the food and drink is all fresh and local and is very nice. The locals come and visit for food and drink in the evenings as well which should tell you all you need to know. The pool was clean and attended to by Matteo every morning and the garden is nice for relaxing. We used this as a base for exploring the Cinque Terre, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour avoiding the toll roads to get to most places. We want to go back, and as we like going to new and different places this is quite rare, so thank you for our stay.

We stay in the area every year to see family, and have always struggled to find a house large enough for us all that is suitable. This house is that and more. The pictures really do not do it justice. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning, and is cleaned every other day. The pool area is a lovely large space we enjoyed daily. I noticed a few comments before our stay about it being too hot without air conditioning and I can say this is just not true. The week we were there temperatures were 33 and we had 3 children in our group and everyone found the evenings very comfortable. Each bedroom has a fan and that is more than sufficient. There is so much room - you have 2 living areas, 2 kitchen areas and the bedrooms, which are all lovely and the beds very comfortable. It is very close to a beautiful town with everything you need and some lovely restaurants. We loved it so much, we have booked for next year! Thank you so much Cristina for your hospitality. AMAZING!!! Once in a lifetime stay!!! We weren’t even planning on visiting Pontremoli until our previous accommodations fell through and we found this place last minute! Marco was so accommodating and always answered when we called! Once we arrived we were in absolute awe of not only the town but this magical property as well! We called Marco right away to book a second night because we were so charmed. An absolute must when traveling this area!
