During our stay, we were very surprised and concerned to find that the manager was inside our room when we returned on the room after came back from outside without any prior notification or explanation. The manager basically told us that we should have read the paper it was sitting on the front desk but no one mentioned this. Overall stay was good but because of this our trip was ruined.

Beautiful property! Staff needs improvement.

While the hotel was beautiful, most of the staff were rude. There were two front desk staff that were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I do not remember their names. An older gentleman working the evening and a young lady working the mid afternoon. Additionally, the hotel had scheduled to update the two televisions in the room. Their idea of informing the guest is leaving a stack of papers at check in with out any verbal communication from the front desk. This was extremely unprofessional and lazy and management should know better.

Extremely unhelpful and rude staff and even people around the area at the gas stations. Specifically we tried to get quarters for laundry and it was what seemed like an impossible task - no quarters from the bar or front desk. The Sinclair next to the hotel was rude and needed us to buy something with cash and could only give us $2. Why have an amenity but no means to help service it? Air conditioning didn’t work in room and didn’t cool below 72 all night. Ice maker on our floor didn’t work and looked like it was unused for months with no signage. Overall maybe just people in salt lake aren’t friendly but I was less than impressed with this hotel
