Poor quality rooms but fantastic food

The restaurant was amazing, but the room was poor. It was small, cramped and the decor was depressing

A lovely, hidden gem

The hotel and restaurant are in a lovely building with a wonderful garden - perfect for a relaxing glass of the local wine! The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, some might think it needs updating, but for the price it did everything g we needed! There is the added benefit of the Michelin starred restaurant downstairs, which is exceptional! We would definitely visit again!

Disappointing room - very small and pokey. Poor lighting and only a small window overlooking a busy road. Tired furnishings needing update. Cramped bathroom.

Not good value.

Charming exterior and beautiful gardens mask a slightly tired interior with tiny rooms. The first room given to us was like a sauna and with an air conditioning that needed servicing there was no possibility of the temperature lowering......... So we were changed for an even smaller room..... As for the Michelin restaurant, I shall be writing to Michelin to complain...... Very poor and not worth the money..... Same as the hotel.

Wonderful staff and a great location

The staff here could not have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel is a little worn, but overall we were very comfortable. The garden is fabulous, and eating our meals there was wonderful. The menu is a little pricey, but the food very good. Mr. Chabran himself came out to greet us and be sure we were enjoying our dinner.

A not so good start as the entire main road was dug up outside the location and we hit 3 French bank holidays in a week. Very disappointed not to have the opportunity to eat at the hotel. We thought 7 days a week meant we could dine on a Sunday even if there was a Bank Holiday the next day. Staff were very professional, helpful and cheery. The "quick" breakfast was a bit disappointing - fresh bread in France should be standard.

Vnery ice Lodging and Solid Dining Experience

Excellent service but no elevator that I could find so be ready to haul your bags upstairs. Nicely furnished, quiet rooms and the restaurant can, most times, be outstanding so you don't have to go far to eat well.

I do recommend this place .Close to highway .

A combination of comfortable lodging and excellent food ,with friendly service. The garden was great and gave a nice setting to the restaurant. Dog friendly

A wonderful experience

The stay was incredible-excellent food and excellent service all around. The management/owners of the hotel are well organized and the result is incredible. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It truly was a first class stay.
