Magnificent preserved rural setting, nestled in the hollow of a vast bucolic "open" plateau of hilly bocage - offering various superb "panoramic belvederes", particularly at setting sun - nestled at the foot of the "Vaux hill", flanked by its unusual " mini vineyard" (local particularity), dominated at its summit by an elegant 17th century castle. Splendid panorama & surrounding landscape. Totally soothing, rejuvenating & relaxing. A stone's throw from the picturesque little village of Saint-Julien-de-Civry with its notable heritage (listed Romanesque church from the 12th century, old water mills, typical farms, washhouse, etc.), a few shops and a pétanque & city-stade (for basketball, football & other ball games).
