The Vagabond Inn Executive Old Town was the perfect spot for our event at the Golden 1 Center — just a quick, easy walk! Free guest parking made everything no-muss, no-fuss, and the bed was wonderfully comfy. Plus, there’s a full variety of restaurants just a block away. The true standout, though, was the genuinely accessible bathroom. In a world where “accessible” is too often just a label, The Vagabond delivered the real thing. My wife uses a wheelchair, and this room had everything she needed — sturdy grab bars, a lower sink, and a spacious roll-in shower. Big kudos to the team for getting accessibility right. 🌟

This was a disappointing stay compared to previous visits. I was assigned a room facing the pool, which meant traffic/garbage truck noise woke me early in the AM. Pedestrian access was limited due to apparent deterioration of sidewalks or parking lot on s (? Or maybe north, away from pool) side of property. The hotel is still a fairly easy walk from Old Sac sights, shops and restaurants, and I did enjoy that aspect of my two night stay.

Very bare bones, lots of freeway noise, and the rooms aren’t well insulated from cold out noise. Bathtub didn’t appear clean enough for me to risk a bath. The heater wasn’t working in my room so I had to call & change to a new room. I wont stay here again.

Was walking distance to old Sacramento. Which made it very convenient. You could hear all the noise at night. We got in very late and it was hard to sleep hearing all the traffic. Check in progress was alittle hard and took an hour but we were patient.

The vibe was definitely different than the other places I've stayed in. I mean that in a good way. The desk guy seemed pretty laid back. The room is great. It's clean and everything you'd expect from a hotel. God forbid I have to climb up a few stairs. The neighborhood seemed safe enough. I had a nice view.

The facilities and room were clean and well maintained. I felt safe and secure. No transients or loiterers on premises. Pool and hot tub looked nice and well kept but we did not use. Very close to downtown Sacramento and easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and the golden one center. Right off the highway. Easy to get in and out of sac.

The pictures and description of this place show and mention a full breakfast. They don't have a full breakfast. They have stale bagels muffins and bad coffee. The room was alright. I've stayed in worse places but it is not worth what they're charging

Five minutes from the Train station and 900 feet from my conference hotel (it was $600+/night). Parking, if I had taken my car, was ample and freeway access right there. The staff was attentive and the grounds secure.
