What a disappointment!

Maybe this very small hotel functions better when it’s not full. I made the error of staying during a big national holiday! When I arrived there was nobody who spoke English, and nobody with a clue about checking me in. I had booked an executive room with mountain view but when the owner arrived back from the market I was shown to a tiny room with a street view. I was told this was the fault of the booking company! I discovered there was another vacant room 2 floors up, with a decent mountain view, albeit still tiny. I took this but was charged VND 600,000 extra. There was almost no room to keep a suitcase open in the room so I ended up putting mine on the mini sofa. The mattress on the bed was larger than the bed-frame, so there was a danger of rolling off. The towels were tiny, ancient and threadbare. The bath mat was a doubled over small towel that was completely useless. Breakfast was very limited, but acceptable. However on the last day, when I was checking out early for the long drive to Dien Bien Phu, the only person present was the owner’s teenage daughter, who had no English and no sense of urgency. I managed to divert her attention from browsing fashion sites on her phone to explain to her, via Google translate, that I had been waiting over 20 minutes, and couldn’t wait much longer. After a further 5 minutes my breakfast, that would have taken a couple of minutes to prepare finally arrived. Did I mention that I was the only one in the breakfast area?

The room is absolutely horrible, dirty, humid, the bath towels were in horrible condition. When I arrived the owner told me there were no rooms available and redirected me to another hotel, only to tell me shortly after that another room was free in the original accommodation. I had to escape to another hotel after the first night cause this was absolutely the worst stay in my trip in Vietnam so far. Run away!

아주 만족합니다. 위치는 사파의 모든 곳을 걸어서 갈 수 있을 정도로 좋습니다. 방은 크고 깨끗했습니다. 모든 직원은 친절했으며, 새벽에 도착해서 다음날 야간 버스로 사파를 떠날때까지 모든 것을 친절하게 지원해주었습니다. 조식도 여러가지가 준비되어 있었으며, 오믈렛이 맛있었습니다.
