Why come to Ruzomberok if you're gonna be staying out in the sticks? Immerse yourself in the city vibe at a central hotel such as Fatrapark 2 Apartments House and Fatrapark 2 Apartments.

If you're still after accommodation and coming up short, check out the Aplend Kamzik or the Hotel Koliba Gréta. The first is 18 kilometres away, while the second is 20 kilometres away. If these don't suit, we'd recommend the Villapark Vlašky, which is 16 kilometres from the downtown area.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Museum of Nature Protection and Speleology and the Galeria P.M. Bohuna in Svaty Kriz. If you'd like to spend a night or two in Svaty Kriz, consider the Hotel Tri Studnicky and Wellness Hotel Chopok. 20 kilometres to the east of Ruzomberok you'll also find Lazisko, which is home to the Hilson Apartments Jasná and Penzión Mária. Zakopane is situated 55 kilometres from Ruzomberok and has a population of 28,000. Nice hotel, clean, great location, few mins walk from city centre. Staff very polite and friendly. We stayed in the suite which is their most expensive room but was surprised we had to pay extra to use the saunas, this should have been included. Also the breakfast choice was limited and with not a lot of choices, especially for vegans/vegetarians or like my mrs for dairy/lactose intolerant. We went at 9.30am one day and there was pretty much nothing left(other than bread) Overall we would definitely stay again, staff, the hotel and location make up for it. Thanks!
