Lovely hosts. Love the coffee pods, the quality crockery and cutlery, bathrobes and live the view from the room and balcony.

I'd stay again just for the views! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace in winter is awesome. The decks would be great for summer. Has 2 bedrooms which are very generously sized. Easy check in and check out.

This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!

Perfect getaway in the most beautiful setting. Just enough for 2 for the 5 nights we had. Even though it was a cold week we were cosy.

The Duke has a wonderful restaurant with great views of the bay. Such a pretty spot.

Whether we were relaxing in our villa, enjoying the scenic surroundings, or taking advantage of the amenities, everything was impeccably maintained and thoughtfully designed. What really stood out was the staff—they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, they made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and explore the beauty of New Zealand North Island. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!
