Energetic visitors can also have a crack at popular regional pursuits like mountain biking and hiking.

Don't blow through before you've gone to the Elina and the Port of Igoumenitsa in Igoumenitsa. If you want to spend a night or two in Igoumenitsa, look into the All Saints Villas and Almini Apartments. 30 kilometres to the southeast of Roumanádes you'll find Paxos, which is home to the Torri e Merli and Blue Horizon. While in Paxos, set aside some time to check out Christian Basilica of Ayia Marina and Avlaki Beach.

Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport sits 20 kilometres from the centre of Roumanádes. If you've had it after the flight, you'll be chuffed to hear that there's some awesome accommodation nearby. The Folies Corfu Hotel Apartments and the Divani Corfu Palace are just a short distance away.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained, the place looked like a newly built hotel. Staff are amazing. Food was varied and high quality, we used the main buffet, the French and the Asian restaurants for dinner and the buffet and Italian for lunch. Drinks were all top shelf brands and service at the bars fast and efficient. The all inclusive is truly "all inclusive". However, if you are used to Mexico all inclusive then this place is a little more restrictive as you are limited to the number of a-la carte dinners that you can have in a week. The room that we had was great. Modern, lovely sea view, spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. The mini bar is also part of the all inclusive. There's a water park for the kids and it is well away from the main pools. The gym is adequate. Spacious but lacks sufficient equipment if the hotel is busy. All in all, don't hesitate to book. We've done Mexico 4 times and Dubai/Fujaira all inclusive 3 times. This place did not disappoint and we will be going back. Tip: if you are not going on a package deal, hire a car. We used Eurohire and just let the car sit for 3 days at the hotel. It was cheaper than a taxi from/to the airport.
