Wondering why New South Wales is such a fave with travellers? Well, we reckon its splendid rural landscapes and beaches might have something to do with it! Stay in Rosedale and you'll be in an excellent spot to get out and discover them.

The nation's capital, Canberra, lies approximately 110 kilometres to the northwest of Rosedale.

Kick back and have a picnic among the salty sea air at Narooma Beach or Paradise Beach Reserve.

You won't have to be stuck inside a car all day to witness a bit of nature around these parts. Just 45 kilometres out of Rosedale, Narooma Visitors Centre is a wonderful place to kick back and relax. More picturesque surrounds are waiting for you at Benandarah State Park, 15 kilometres away.

For a bit of exercise and the chance to frame up some great holiday snaps, go for a stroll around the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens.

If you'd like to head further afield, add a jaunt to Long Beach to your plan. This destination is 13 kilometres to the north and features Birdland Animal Park and Batemans Bay Marina.
