Loved our room because of the view ; right in front of the fountain. The room was fairly simple, but high ceilings and spacious , bed very comfy . Kept clean and tidy every day. The hotel is quirky in a good way, not boring old modern buildings . The staff were all friendly, welcoming and approachable . This is right by the Trevi Fountain, so be prepared for the crowds outside and then a lovely sense of calm as you walk into the hotel. Def recommend it and would go back there to stay.

Honest review: not the best hotel in Rome. The door legit faces the Trevi Fountain- which is cool in theory but holy cow the crowds at all hours of the day and night. Cars don’t drive on this road so you get dropped off a few feet away and have to push and shove your way to the hotel. The street is packed like sardines with people waiting in line to throw coins into the fountain. It’s the absolute worst getting in and out of the hotel, not to mention doing it with luggage on your arrival and departure days. The staff: I found most of them unfriendly. The room: I booked the room with the Trevi Fountain view because, again, it seemed cool. What a mistake. Those crowds at all hours? Yeah they are loud and you hear it ALL. Our first night I didn’t sleep at all and what a surprise when there was a marching band at 10:30pm! Not to mention the hourly marriage proposals that come with every cheering and clapping. I bought earplugs the next day and was able to mute the noise about 90% after that but know that there are big loud crowds outside the window from 8am to 5am every day. Yes you read that right. The room is also tilted and felt dirty. Shower is very small, slippery, and doesn’t have a shelf to put your soap, shampoo, etc. Other than that, there is a rooftop bar that is open to the public so you have strangers entering with access to the entire hotel- not just the top floor. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Plenty of hotels a block away.

Lovely hotel with history and charm. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place this is not for you but if you want a room in a perfect location, right in front of the famous Trevi Fountain then this is perfect. The staff are friendly and inviting. Loved staying here.

Highlights: convenient location. Honestly, I didn’t hate the room, it was very small, but cute and overall clean. The staff is friendly. The woman at the front desk who speaks English well is very kind. It’s obviously a very old hotel so it still has character and charm and I love that. Cons: it’s loud. This really isn’t a fault or a complaint on the hotel. I knew it would be from other reviews, but I didn’t anticipate just how loud it can be and nightly until around 1am. It’s not even just the hustle and bustle of the crowd, there’s constantly shouting and cheering and loud music past 9pm. We were exhausted so we didn’t stay out late, maybe we missed something? Then at 3am on Sunday morning was trash pickup in the alley right outside our window and that was rough. We stayed 2 nights on the 1st floor, room 109. Two twin size beds. I think it’s great for a night or 2, great location for many reasons besides the Trevi fountain. The room was totally fine. I didn’t mind sleeping in a separate bed from my husband after jet lag haha. If you plan to stay here I would definitely consider bringing earplugs and sleep sounds. And a blanket, the AC actually gets pretty cold. Also, have euros, 6 euros per night per person city tax upon check out. Free breakfast buffet. It is a pain bringing suitcases through the crowd and the cobblestone as cars can’t get closer to the hotel, we had some old British guy mouth off at us for bringing suitcases through such a place and I snapped back.

Loved this hotel. The room on the top floor (where the serve breakfast and cocktails) has a stunning view of the Trevi Fountain. Although the hotel was in the middle of the city, it was still fairly quiet. The breakfast was delicious! And we even enjoyed a cocktail and snacks one night--the perfect was to view the fountain and unwind after a busy day sightseeing. The staff was so kind and helpful with arranging travel to and from the airport. The service was amazing. And you're very centrally located to everything you'd want to do in Rome. Would definitely book here again.

Nice basic hotel in EXCELLENT location

PLUS SIDE: Excellent location right opposite the Trevi Fountain. Friendly reception staff. Small, basic room, but comfortable with bathroom basics. Rooftop bar/breakfast area overlooking the Trevi Fountain. DOWNSIDE: the shower was ludicrously small with a shower curtain which did not reach the whole height of the shower, meaning the bathroom flooded every time it was used.
