Amazing hotel very well located. Close to major Roman monuments. The room was cleaned and it was super quiet. But the best part is the staff! 10/10 all the staff were super friendly gave us options for local restaurants and tips for how to move in the city. We will come back for sure! Also the breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs, various juices, bread, sweets and very good cappuccino!

Centrally located for walking around sights of Rome. Friendly helpful staff. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags and when we checked in at two the bags had been put in our room. Had an afternoon flight and they looked after our bags after we checked out so we could explore. Nice bathroom. Only negative is traffic noise, but being Rome I think its something you can't escape. We stayed three nights and it was great.

What an amazing experience at Boutique Hotel Galatea. A terrific property in close proximity to all the major Rome monuments and attractions, but outside the chaos of the city. The staff at the hotel were superb. They communicated with us via WhatsApp before the trip often, and were quick and available to answer questions we had during our stay. Camille made our stay extra special, helping to coordinate a surprise in our room and she was patient with us as few practiced our Italian. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Perfect location. Everything within walking distance. Wifi and service wasn’t good in the rooms. Hotel is on the third floor in the back of an alley, seems shady but it was fine. Would probably come again because of location.

Super easy to walk to all main attractions. Rome was over 120 degrees and the room AC was the coldest air conditioning we had in our whole 3 weeks of Europe. Highly recommend for a couple day stay or quick trip to Rome. Staff was super friendly and helpful in making us feel welcomed. Our main concern was storing our 4 bags when we arrived and the staff took good care of our luggage and already had the bags in our room upon our return.

This was truly one of the best experiences I have had with any hotel. Jasmine greeted us at the front desk, helped us get to know the area better, and was so kind to us. She gave us a lot of information on what was included in our stay and gave us a map with directions that certainly made walking around easy!

This hotel was hard to find at first, especially because it’s on the 3rd floor of a building on a quiet street. Thankfully our taxi driver was able to find it and drive us right up to the front gate, and we were able to figure out to take the (small) elevator to the 3rd floor. There are gates that lock after on the outside of the building in the evening, which is nice and reassuring for safety. The hotel room was lovely, simple, comfortable and well appointed. The room had a small mini fridge with items available for purchase. There was enough room in there for us to put our water bottles. The bathroom was a nice size with everything in good working order. The shower was small but had great water pressure and no worries about not enough hot water. The only thing to note is that the AC didn’t get as cool as we hoped that it would. Although it allows you to toggle it down to 16 degrees Celsius, it only ever got down to 26 degrees, which was pretty warm but compared to the hot July weather outside, it was ok. We asked the front desk and were told that the AC was working, so we just figured that we must be used to colder temps and dealt with it. Thankfully we happened to have a small USB travel fan, which helped. Still a nice hotel and would recommend it, especially because it had a great location with most sites so easily walkable and because the staff there was so helpful and friendly.

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect, easy to walk to all the major sites and the hotel was very clean and cute. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they gave great recommendations and helped us out with the unexpected travel issues that always seem to come up. The hotel is in quiet area in walkable distance to many beautiful sites and easy to find. Rooms are wonderful and very clean while the staff at the desk as well as the ladies looking after the rooms are extremely friendly and very professional. We would chose the Galatea again in a heart beat! Thank you very much for being a huge part of a fantastic experience in Rome.
