The property's sound proofing is much lower than expectation. People talking in next room can be heard loudly as if they are talking next to me well into the night. I got awaken by people closing their suite doors. On the positive side, it is conveniently and centrally located with a lot eateries around. The staff were helpful.

The price is great and the location, a 10 minute walk to Roma Termini station, makes getting around very easy. The room I had was perfect for one person. Everything was clean. Towels were fresh, new rain shower. The breakfast is a must. So much to choose from, many savory dishess like eggs, cheese, deli meats, salad, and toast. Then there is an entire table of sweets (dolce). You'll fund cornato, croissants, cake, pie, nutella, fresh fruit. The sweets are made "in house". Also, fresh coffee, cappuccino. Espresso, or American coffee. Antonio is the best. He will help you with anything you need. Directions, getting a cab, or fixing any issue with the room. I highly recommend this hotel. It's a great price, great location, wonderful service, and amazing breakfast!

What I really appreciated was how peaceful the environment was, it made for a relaxing stay. The room we stayed in was nicely modified and comfortable. A couple of things could use improvement: the elevator is quite old and really needs an upgrade, and the carpet on the stairs should be replaced. These small changes could make a big difference in the overall impression.

Very close to Roma Termini, which made getting from the airport to the hotel quick and easy. There are plenty of diverse restaurants nearby, offering a great variety of food options. Reaching the main attractions was simple too, thanks to the hotel's proximity to both the A and B subway lines. The rooms had a charming, antique feel and offered plenty of space.

The room was small but enough, although there was no space to put things. There is a table, and that’s it. The almirah is also small and has only one drawer. Wifi was not working properly because the signal was too weak.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It’s advertised as a 4-star property, but it does not meet that standard. Describing it as “art deco” seems like an excuse to leave it outdated and tired. The hotel is dark, the corridor carpets look decades old, and the furniture is visibly worn. Our room had a stale smell, and the fabric wallpaper appeared dusty. The foyer sofa looked very old and unclean. The lift felt unsafe and was extremely small. There was no soap in the bathroom, the flush needed pressing multiple times, and the thin windows let in all outside noise. There was only one plug socket—by the desk, none by the bed, which was inconvenient. Photos online make the hotel look much better than it actually is. I also noticed that floors 1–3 appeared slightly more modern than floors 4 and 5, which seemed much more run-down. This might explain the mixed reviews. Still, I was surprised by the number of 4- and 5-star ratings—it makes me question their legitimacy. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. However, had it been advertised as a 2-star hotel, I would’ve had more realistic expectations. Calling it 4-star is misleading, and I did not feel it was worth the price I paid.

L'hotel è stato fantastico! Il mio volo è stato in ritardo, facendomi perdere le coincidenze a New York e a Heathrow. Ho mandato un messaggio per provare a spostare il check-in di un giorno e hanno capito perfettamente! Mi hanno persino rimborsato la notte persa, cosa che ero disposto ad accettare, ma per cui sono molto grato. La zona era tranquilla, sicura, comoda, e consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui. Prenoterò sicuramente di nuovo per un futuro viaggio in Italia!

Birthday treat

The hotel was very close to the train station, metro and bus stops making attractions and the airport easily accessible. I booked this trip as a treat for myself for my 60th birthday. I love Art Deco, hence the attraction of me booking this hotel.
