Book Rokuroshi Kogen Onsen hotels

Beautiful hotel, tatami mat throughout the whole hotel lobby and hallways made the place feel very warm, cozy and full of character.

This ryokan is very dated and in dire need of a refresh. The facilities are not what you would expect from a top end facility in a spa town. The public bath (men’s) felt decades old with soap/salt staining and old fittings. The private baths were a good facility/idea. Most corridors apart from the main lobby area had an unpleasant smell (musty, mouldy). Our room also faintly had this whiff. The staff are great - polite and efficient. Breakfast was good. The free snacks, sale, ice cream buffets were a good idea but don’t expect them to be top quality. The shuttle was handy. And the ryokan is well situated, a short walk away from charming Yamanaka town. Unfortunately I could not recommend this as a place until it has had a make-over.

I very much liked this place. And they did me a favor, I wasn’t able to use the purple bimi ticket, so they made a dinner option just for me, and I looked at the menu- the dinner was worth more than the cost of the ticket. They helped me out beyond what they needed to do, I highly recommend this hotel.

너무나 완벽한 숙소였습니다. 고마츠 역에서 걸어서 30초 걸리는 거리는 너무 무더운 날씨에 최적의 거리였습니다. 출장 마지막 날의 1박이라서 너무 아쉬웠지만, 멋진 일본 출장을 마무리하는데 멋진 숙소였습니다.
