There was no shampoo, conditioner, or tv remote in the room. Also two pillows in a king bed not enough. The room window was wide open with no screen good thing it was on the second floor and no locking latch on the window. No bath mat which is a safety hazard as I almost slipped getting out of the tub. Soda machines were out of order and no ice machine. Also security has wires all over the hallway causing a tripping hazard as well. I know it a super 8 but I still expect better.

Room had damaged walls, a lotion dispenser falling off the wall a poorly reinstalled towel rack and inadequate lighting. There is also a sign posted at check-in that the hotel has stopped breakfast service and they apologize for any inconvenience.

We are happy to report that Super 8 has been updating its rooms and the stays here are comfortable. Although they discontinued the pretty good breakfast that they used to provide without prior notice, the value is still good given the cost of other comparable hotels. We will likely stay there next time we are in the area.

They charged a $50 fee that the website did not indicate would happen, supposedly will get reimbursed. there is no soap in the bathroom and no smoke detector in the room

No Breakfast. Not very prompt in replenshing coffee cups, etc once they are exhausted. Carpets needs more cleaning. Rooms are big and okay. However, I had to change my room once as some of the items were broken.The hotel is 10 min away from RIT and major shopping areas.
